Memorial Day and the 4th of July are fast approaching. It is during both these holidays that we remember what it means to be free and the price some paid to keep us that way.

Once the parades and fireworks are over most Americans will forget our veterans and they daily struggles. Some are able to walk right back into civilian life, while others will be left with physical or mental restraints. In past wars many of them would have ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????perished on the battlefield. In today’s world the immediate response by medical personal rescues them from the clutches of death.

But some of our young warriors will need our help for decades to come. Please remember what they did for us when politician start complaining about the cost of medical care. Don’t turn your head and ignore ill staffed VA hospitals or Veteran’s Homes. Our soldiers have earned more than our respect. They have earned our continued support.
